So there I was using oats to wash my face while I had the really bad skin issues and there really isn't much point in me repeating Bubz, she does a great job of demonstrating how to use oats as a face wash.
This was all well and good until I needed to remove my make-up! I don't tend to wear copious amounts and I switched to mineral make-up years ago but I still needed something stronger.
I was on Facebook just faffing around (as you do) when I saw an advert at the side of the page for a shop in Cheshire who only stock products that are organic, natural and do not contain parabens sulphates and other harmful chemicals. It was the first time I have found a FB advert to be useful! The shop is called Amarya and I cannot recommend them highly enough, doubtless I will mention them quite a lot in future posts.

I spent a long time looking up reviews of cleansers and in the end for my combination but sensitive skin decided upon Green People's Gentle Cleanse and Make-Up Remover. All this time later I still have this product in my bathroom! It smells beautifully natural and is very thick and creamy, it does not foam although that's fine for me and you'll find it's very common in products that do not contain sulphates.
It removes make-up very thoroughly and my skin never feels dry or tight after using it. You can either apply it like a facewash to wet skin or apply it to dry skin and remove with toner, I have tried both methods and while they work equally well I prefer to use it with water as I always feel cleaner than removing with toner. You can also get it in a 200ml size which I ended up buying when the 50ml bottle ran out. This has definitely become one of my staple products.
Perhaps one of the best things about it is that it is only £8.95 for the 50ml so doesn't break the bank in comparison to some cleansers e.g. John Masters Organics whose products are usually over £20. I often see people complaining online about skincare that is what they deem to be too expensive but the skin on your face is exposed to the elements all the time and when you have problem skin it can really lower your self esteem so I definitely believe in using good quality products.
